We do it all
Any event where people gather is an event where magnets belong.
Why Magnets
A giveaway your guests won't leave behind
Most event swag ends up in the trash. A custom photo magnet ends up on the fridge.
By Occasion
What the station looks like at your kind of party
Baby showers and gender reveals. The magnet everyone wants is the one with mom in it, and the station makes that easy: guests take their photo with the guest of honor, and the shower date prints on every square. Showers tend to be smaller gatherings, which means no line and a relaxed pace — guests drift over between games. The grandmothers usually go back for seconds.
Milestone birthdays, sweet 16s, and quinceañeras. A fortieth needs different energy than a quince, but the magnet station reads right at both: it's an activity for the guests who don't dance and a favor for everyone who does. For a quinceañera or sweet 16, we design the overlay around the celebration — her name, the year, the colors — so every guest leaves with a piece of the theme instead of a generic favor bag. Planning a bar or bat mitzvah? That celebration has its own page too.
Graduation open houses. June in Metro Detroit is open-house season, and the station fits the format perfectly: guests come and go for hours, and each wave makes magnets with the grad. The class year goes on the overlay. One honest tip — if your open house is on a popular Saturday, book weeks ahead; graduation weekends are the first to fill.
Holiday parties and family gatherings. Office parties are covered on our corporate page, but Decembers also fill with friendsgivings, extended-family Christmases, and New Year's parties. A magnet of the whole family on grandma's couch, made in the living room while dessert goes around, is the kind of thing that outlives the sweater photos. Yes, we set up in homes — the station needs a 6-by-4-foot corner and an outlet, which most living rooms can spare.
Fundraisers, galas, and community events. For a gala, the station gives donors a moment between the silent auction and the program — and the organization's branding rides on every magnet that goes home. For school events, festivals, and church functions, it's a crowd-pleaser that works for every age in the same line: the kindergartner and the great-grandfather need the same sixty seconds.
Start To Finish
How booking an event station works
Tell us about the event in the form below — date, headcount, venue, occasion — and we'll come back within 24 hours with a quote. Once you book, we design the magnet overlay for your occasion (names, dates, colors, a logo if there is one) and send it to you to approve, so nothing on event day is a surprise.
On the day, we arrive before your guests, set up in about 30 minutes, and run the station for your booked window. Guests scan the QR code, pick or take a photo, and their magnet is in hand about a minute later — unlimited, for every guest, with no per-magnet charges. When the window ends we tear down quietly and you keep hosting. The digital gallery of your event's magnet photos follows afterward.
If a live station isn't the right fit — a smaller budget, a venue with no space, favors needed before the day — our bulk photo magnets get you the same keepsake, made ahead and shipped.
The Calendar
The Metro Detroit event year, from where we stand
Every event category has its season, and knowing them helps you book smart. May through October is wedding season, which means summer Saturdays are the tightest dates on our calendar — if your party lands on one, reach out earlier than feels necessary. June belongs to graduation open houses, with the same three or four Saturdays absorbing half the month's parties. December is corporate holiday season and fills from October.
The quiet months are the opportunity: a February birthday, a March baby shower, an April retirement party has the calendar almost to itself, and midweek and Sunday events breathe easy year-round. If your date is flexible, tell us — the same package is easier to schedule and easier to staff on a Friday evening than a peak-season Saturday.
Whatever the season, the booking math stays the same: tell us the date, get a quote within 24 hours, and a deposit holds your spot. Most party bookings land three to six weeks out; the peak-Saturday exceptions above are the ones that reward planning further ahead.
Space & Setup
What your venue needs (a very short checklist)
The full requirements list: a 6-by-4-foot space, one standard outlet, and cover from rain if we're outdoors. That's it. Banquet hall, backyard, church basement, office lobby, barn, garage with the door up on a nice day — we've designed the station to be self-contained, so the venue's job is small. We bring the table, the backdrop, the equipment, the supplies, and the person who runs it all.
Placement is the one thing worth thinking about: the station draws a line, so a spot with room for six or eight people to stand without blocking the buffet keeps everything comfortable. Near the entrance or the gift table usually works; we'll talk it through when we confirm your booking. Setup takes about 30 minutes and we arrive before your guests do, so nobody watches the assembly.
Cell signal is the quiet requirement — guests upload photos from their phones. Most venues are fine; for the occasional basement hall with one bar of service, guest access to venue Wi-Fi solves it. Mention the space when you inquire and we'll flag anything worth checking.
Event pricing
Every event is unique. Tell us about yours and we'll put together the perfect package.

Custom quotes for larger events and special requests.
Every package includes the attendant, all equipment and supplies, your custom overlay design, unlimited magnets, and full setup and teardown — the number above is the whole number. Longer windows, bigger headcounts, and branded templates are priced plainly in your quote, so comparing us against a photo booth or a favor budget takes one email, not a call with a salesperson.
Corporate Events
Corporate event magnets in Metro Detroit
Branded photo magnets turn a corporate event into something your team and clients actually take home. We add your company logo or event branding to every magnet, so a conference, trade show, product launch, or holiday party ends with a keepsake that lives on the fridge — not a lanyard that ends up in a drawer.
It works as a modern alternative to a photo booth: guests scan a QR code, pick a photo, and walk away with a finished magnet in about 60 seconds. We bring all the equipment, a professional attendant, and handle full setup and teardown, so your team can focus on the event. We serve companies across Troy, Detroit, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Novi, Ann Arbor, and the rest of Metro Detroit.
Want your logo on every magnet? Add our Branded Template ($299) when you request a quote below — and if you're planning a company event, our dedicated corporate event magnets page covers branding proofs, timelines, and budgets in detail.
After The Party
The gallery afterward, and the guests it works for
When the event ends, you get a digital gallery of the magnet photos from your night. This is quietly one of the best parts of hosting a magnet station: you see your party through your guests' eyes — the table selfies, the cousins' series of increasingly dramatic poses, the photo your college roommate chose that you'd never seen. Don't be surprised if your favorite photo of the whole event turns out to be in there.
And a word about who the station works for, because it's broader than most entertainment: everyone. There's no physical bar to clear, no dance floor courage required, no app to install. The 6-year-old needs the same sixty seconds as the 86-year-old, and both walk away with the same grin and the same magnet. At multigenerational parties — which in Metro Detroit means most parties — that's the difference between entertainment for some of the room and something the whole room shares.
Guests keep their photos, always. The gallery is yours to enjoy and share with the people who were there — not a marketing list, not a data grab. It's your party, they're your people, and the photos belong to the ones who took them. That's the whole policy.
Event magnet questions
Can you brand the magnets for our company?
Yes. Our Branded Template add-on puts your company logo or event branding on every magnet — a keepsake your team or attendees keep on the fridge long after the event.
What corporate events do you serve?
Conferences, trade shows, product launches, holiday parties, team-building days, and client appreciation events across Metro Detroit.
How much does an event cost?
Events start at $899 for 2 hours, with custom quotes for larger gatherings and special requests.
How large an event can you handle?
For bigger events we bring additional equipment and attendants to keep the line moving. Just tell us your headcount and we'll size the setup.
How far do you travel?
We serve all of Metro Detroit — Troy, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Detroit, Novi, Ann Arbor, and surrounding cities within about an hour of Troy.
Do you set up at private homes?
Yes. Backyard graduation parties, living-room holiday gatherings, garage parties — the station needs a 6-by-4-foot space and a standard outlet, which most homes can spare. Outdoors works too, with power and cover from rain.
Is there a minimum event size?
No hard minimum — the starting package covers events up to about 75 guests, and a 25-person shower is just a more relaxed version of the same setup. Tell us your headcount and we'll be honest about whether the package makes sense for your budget.
Can the magnet design match our party theme?
Yes. Every event gets its own overlay — names, dates, colors, a school year, a logo — and you approve the design before the day.
How fast will we hear back after inquiring?
Within 24 hours, with a real quote — not an automated 'we received your message.'
